Relax e-cigarette regulations to help smokers quit, say MPs

E-cigarettes are being overlooked as a stop smoking tool too often by the NHS, the House of Commons Science and Technology Committee concluded in their new report. They echoed the findings from Public Health England in saying that e-cigarettes are 95% less harmful than smoking conventional cigarettes. They also concluded that concerns around e-cigarettes acting as a ‘gateway’ for young non-smokers have not materialised.
